Black Dude attacks 93-year-old White Woman for $4 Measly Dollars: Announcing "Enough" coming out 11/11/11

Reading Thug Report is a sobering experience. Offering a panorama of crime from the entire nation, the overwhelmingly Blackness of it all is depressing.

Just when you think Black criminality can’t get any lower, you read a story like this (courtesy of the quickly becoming racialized Drudgereport.com):

A 48-year-old Philadelphia man has pleaded guilty to two despicable robberies in Center City: an attack on a 93-year-old woman in the elevator of her apartment building, and another attack on a young mother walking her infant in a stroller.

Both victims were in court Wednesday as defendant Michael Crump admitted to the crimes.

There was an audible gasp from spectators in the courtroom as the prosecutor described how Crump had knocked the elderly victim to the ground and then kicked her before fleeing from the elevator.

Crump got four dollars from the woman, but not without a fight.

“You are supposed to, if you are being attacked, you’re supposed to hand over your valuables and not make a fuss about it,” the feisty elderly victim told the judge. “But my feeling is, damn it, I worked all my life for this money and you are not going to get it. It was only four bucks, let’s be brutally honest about it. The whole robbery was only four dollars. But at the same time it’s my money and I worked for it.”

The elderly victim did lose a valued photo of her husband, who died five years ago, and that clearly still hurts more than the bruises and broken finger.

Crump pleaded guilty in a third case, a pickpocket crime, earlier this week. He is in custody and will be sentenced in July.

The article doesn’t tell you, but Crump is Black. The 93-year-old woman that he attacked is white. Click here for an NBC story where the 93-year-old white victim is interviewed.

Maybe “depressing” is the wrong word. In a perfect world, those who do evil to others – regardless of race – would be dealt with quickly and swiftly. We’ve already written about Philadelphia; that cities fate is sealed.

Our toleration of criminality wears thin. That people have become numb to stories such as the mugging of a 93-year-old is a reminder of the utter decadence of this society.

That people have become numb to stories such as the tale of Howard Veal, a 44-year-old Black man who has fathered 23 kids with 15 different women and owes more than $553,000 in child support, tells us more about the folly of this society:

A western Michigan man accused of fathering 23 children with 14 women and has been sent to prison for at least two years for failing to pay tens of thousands of dollars in child support.

“Animals procreate. Human beings are supposed to nurture their children,” Kent County Circuit Judge Dennis Leiber said Thursday.

Howard Veal, 44, of Muskegon owes more than $533,000 in child support, according to the state attorney general’s office. He pleaded guilty in July to owing more than $60,000 to a Grand Rapids woman.

There are 14 child-support cases pending against him in Kent and Muskegon counties, The Grand Rapids Press reported.

The state has prosecuted thousands of support cases “but none as outrageous as this,” Assistant Attorney General Mitchell Wood said in a court filing.

Animals is the right word. In the words of Captain Kirk, “Let them die.”

We at SBPDL are not advocating violence at all. We are advocating indifference and apathy. The probability that these 23 kids will grow up and become potential Michael Crump’s is quite high. Much higher than any of the 23 kids growing up and becoming the next Michael Oher.

It stories like the tale of Michael Crump (who burden society with their cowardly criminality) and Howard Zeal (who burden society with their abandoned children) that force us to announce the news of a fictional story we have been working on, entitled Enough.

Enough will come out on November 11, 2011 (yes, 11/11/11). It’s a story that’s been on our mind for more than 10 years and it’s finally time it comes pouring out on paper. We’re taught to turn the other cheek and pray for those who do evil to others and yet pop culture is dominated by heroic tales of those who realize that shaming the laws inadequacies isn’t something to be upset about. Dexter, Taken, The Boondock Saints, The Punisher, Batman, Death Sentence, The Brave One and yes, Death Wish are all stories that resonate with the public.

A guy like Fred Reed, who spent years as a crime reporter in the fetid swamp known as Washington D.C. only to learn that life is cheap among people Judge Leiber declared “animals,” can turn his back on America and move to Mexico. This is still a great nation worth fighting for, and the reasoning is as simple as that given by Jed Eckert in Red Dawn: “Because we live here.”

Enough will be the fictional story of what transpires when you push a normal, productive, simple man to the breaking point. More importantly, it will be how a nation responds to that persons actions.

SBPDL is going back to its roots starting tomorrow. We’ll be much more light-hearted, but the story of Michael Crump forced us to announce the news of Enough.

In the mean time, we hope that one day the fine blog OneSTDV rides again. If not, enjoy the sunset.
